This Privacy Policy describes how Cognical, a product of Dynamed Solutions, LLC ("Dynamed", "we", "us", "our"), collects and handles information about you. By using Cognical, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. What we collect

We collect a small amount of information, only what is needed to operate the product:

• Your email address — used to authenticate you and to save your profile across sessions
• Your assessment responses — used to generate your dynamics profile
• Your dynamics profile — the four-dimension cognitive dynamics result of your assessment, stored so the product can personalize responses to you

We do not collect or store your real name, address, phone number, payment information (none is required), location, or any other personal information beyond your email.

2. What we don't collect or store

We do not store the questions, situations, or content you submit to the nudge, check, or think modes. Those inputs exist only in your browser session while you use the product. They are not retained after the session ends.

We do not run advertising on Cognical.

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to build advertising profiles.

3. Third-party services we use

To operate the product, we rely on a small number of third-party services. These services process information on our behalf, under their own privacy practices:

• Supabase stores your email address and dynamics profile, and handles authentication
• Resend delivers one-time login codes to your email address
• OpenAI generates the responses returned by nudge, check, and think modes; the questions you submit are sent to OpenAI to produce a response and are subject to OpenAI's data practices
• Cloudflare hosts the Cognical web application
• Plausible provides privacy-friendly, aggregate web analytics, such as page views, referrers, device/browser information, and country-level usage

We do not share your information with any third parties beyond what is needed to operate these services.

4. Children

Cognical is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with information, contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — your dynamics profile is visible to you within the product
• Delete your data — email [email protected] from the address associated with your account; we will process verified deletion requests within thirty (30) days
• Withdraw consent — stop using Cognical and request deletion at any time

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (European Economic Area, United Kingdom) or the CCPA (California). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

6. Data security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encrypted transmission and authenticated access to stored data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information from unauthorized access.

7. Data retention

We retain your email address and dynamics profile for as long as you have an active Cognical account. If you delete your account, we will remove this information within thirty (30) days of a verified deletion request. Some information may persist briefly in backups before being permanently deleted.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the document. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, including by email if you have provided one.
